8.7 Limiter
At the end of the Engineer
Algorithm there is a three-
band limiter for the Low-Mid-
High bands.
The
X-over
frequencies
between
the
bands
determined
by
frequencies
from
Automated EQ section.
The
Headroom
parameter
sets the limiter threshold as
a function of the Target
Volume.
E.g.
when
Headroom parameter is set
to 3dB, then the level is
allowed to be 3dB higher
than
the
target
before
the
limiter
working.
The limiters release time is
set
in
milliseconds,
limiters attack time is set as
a function of the release.
