TROUBLESHOOTING

GENERAL
Problem
Unit will not power on.
Remote control does not function.
No/low audio output.
Poor sound quality or distortion.
Tel-Mute malfunction.
Unit resets itself when engine is off.
TFT MONITOR
Problem
Monitor does not open
automatically.
No image.
Flashing image or interference
appears on screen.
Prolonged image or improper
height/width ratio display.
Monitor stops at incorrect position.
The Touchscreen doesn't work
correct.
Cause
1. Radio fuse blown.
2. Car battery fuse blown.
3. Illegal operation.
1. Battery depleted.
2. Battery installed incorrectly.
1. Improper audio output connection.
2. Volume set too low.
3. Improper "MUTE" connection.
4. Speakers damaged.
5. Heavily biased balance setting.
6. Speaker wiring is in contact with metal
part of car.
1. Pirated disc is in use.
2. Speaker power rating not compatible
with unit.
3. Speaker is shorted.
1. "MUTE" wire is grounded.
1. Incorrect connection between ACC and
positive battery wire.
Cause
1. TFT Auto Open is turned off.
1. Incorrect connection to parking brake
wire.
2. PRK SW is activated and parking brake
is not engaged.
1. DVD is not compatible with current TV
system settings.
2. Improper video signal connections.
1. Improper aspect ratio setup.
1. Moving path is blocked.
1. The unit was disconnected or upgradet
with a new software update.

Corrective action
1. Install new fuse with correct rating.
2. Install new fuse with correct rating.
3. Press the [RESET] button located in the
bottom right corner of the front panel.
1. Replace battery with new one.
2. Remove battery and install correctly.
1. Check wiring and correct.
2. Increase volume level.
3. Review wiring diagram and check
"MUTE" connection.
4. Replace speakers.
5. Adjust the channel balance to the center
position.
6. Insulate all speaker wiring connections.
1. Use original copy.
2. Connect proper speakers.
3. Check speaker contact.
1. Check that "MUTE" connection is not
grounded and that it's properly insulated.

Corrective action
