5. In the "Modems Properties" screen, you
should see a description of your modem.

6. Next, click the Diagnostics tab at the top
of the "Modems Properties" screen. If you
have not already, write down the COM
port number for your modem. (Write it
where you wrote your modem's serial
number and your version of Windows 95.)
