NOTE:
ATZ4 or AT&F1 are often
the best reset strings, as they
restore hardware flow control
defaults.
PROBLEM:
Your screen keeps displaying
random garbage characters.
Diagnosis:
You could have a conflict with the remote
modem's settings for word length, parity, and
stop bits.

Diagnosis:
The best flow control settings might not be
enabled on your modem.
