Windows 95 & NT 4.0 (SMB Network)
1. Start the Windows Explorer from the Start/Programs
Menu.
2. In Network Neighborhood, locate your HP CD-ROM
Server under Entire Network/ Workgroup. This may
take several minutes. The default name is

CD folder and
select 'Map
Network
Drive'
3. Right-click the CD folder and select Map Network
Drive. Then map the CD-ROM server to a drive
letter.
4. Verify that you can access the CD-ROM server
through My Computer. You are done.

1. Log into the NDS tree.
2. Start File Manager and select Network Connections
from the Disk menu.
3. Select the entry for your new CD-ROM server. The
default name is
the six last digits of the LAN hardware address.
4. Click the Drive Connections button and double-click

5. Drag the CD-folder to any available drive letter to
map the CD-ROM server. Click the Exit button.
