    INSTALLING THE WHEELS Remove any of the loose parts in packaging, including the parts bags, from the carton. Pull the string trimmer out of the box. 2. Install the wheel axle. Remove the nuts and sleeves at both ends of the axle, and install the axle through the hole on the deck. 3.Install the sleeves and wheels on each end of the axle (Note: The C side of the wheel should face inward ).
  • Page 12 INSTALLING UPPER HANDLE &LOWER HANDLE 1. Assemble the lower handle as shown in the figure, install the M8*45 bolts and tighten them with M13 wrench. 2. Assemble the upper handle as shown in the figure, install the T bolts and knobs, and tighten them.

  • Page 13: Operating Your String Trimmer

    OPERATING YOUR STRING TRIMMER GAS AND OIL FILL-UP The engine comes shipped without oil or gasoline. Be sure to add oil and gasoline before starting the engine. 1. Add oil before starting string trimmer for the first time. 2. Service the engine with gasoline as instructed. Warning: Use extreme care when handling gasoline.
  • Page 14 Warning: Gasoline is extremely flammable and is explosive under certain conditions. Refueling in a well-ventilation area with the engine stopped. Do not smoke and allow flames or sparks in the area where gasoline is stored or where the fuel tank is refueled. Do not overfill the fuel tank (there should be no fuel in the filling neck).

    START THE ENGINE To start the engine, perform the following steps: 1. Check the oil and fuel levels. 2. Press the primer bulb 3 times. 3. Engage the engine Start/Stop Control and simultaneously pull on the recoil starter. Pull on the recoil starter handle slowly until a slight resistance is felt, then pull quickly to start the engine.

    ADJUSTING THE SPINDLE HEIGHT The spindle height can be adjusted for various applications. To do so, proceed as follows: 1. Loosen the bolt on each side of the spindle shaft. 2. Slide the spindle upward or downward to the desired position before retightening the bolts.

    WARNING: Never tip the trimmer more than 90º in any direction and do not leave the trimmer tipped for any length of time. Oil can drain into the upper part of the engine causing a starting problem. 3. Scrape and clean the underside of the machine with a suitable tool. Do not spray with water. IMPORTANT: Do not use a pressure washer or garden hose to clean the machine.

    AIR CLEANER MAINTENANCE Routine maintenance of the air cleaner helps maintain proper airflow to the carburetor. Occasionally check that the air cleaner is free of excessive dirt. For air cleaner detail: 1. Remove the bolt and air cleaner cover. Be careful to prevent dirt and debris from falling into the air cleaner base opening.
