    Preparation Make sure towable unit is level. Make sure towable unit is properly supported and secured. Chock all tires. Operation Opening the Pop-up Roof System Release the two latching mechanisms. If used, remove the locking devices from the latch assemblies (Fig. 1A). Fig.

    Using the Seeping Compartment Open the pop-up as previously described. Place the pass-through net over the opening, securing it in-place with the four carabiners (Fig. 7). A twin sized mattress (not supplied) can now be placed over the pop-up's flooring. Fig.

    Closing the Pop-up Roof System Release the rolled up window coverings from their securing straps and zip up the window coverings. Release the top of the prop rods and place each in its stowed position. If necessary, fold the mattress back to expose the netting and pass-through opening. Using the carabiners, detach the netting from the net brackets and store the removed net and carabiners.

    Optional Amenities If so equipped, The Fort Pop-up Roof System may be equipped with an optional roof-mounted solar panel and/or a two-port USB charging hub for mobile devices. Solar Panel The optional solar panel (Fig. 13) is pre-installed on top of the roof section of the pop-up by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the customized vehicle.

    USB Charging Hub The optional USB Charging Hub (Fig. 14) is pre-installed inside the pop-up by the OEM of the custom vehicle. The USB hub has two charging ports; 5V 1A and 5V 2.1A. For questions about the USB Charging Hub's installation, contact the vehicle's OEM.

    Maintenance Periodically clean the canvas to prevent dirt and grime build-up. Dirt and grime build-up may penetrate the fabric. Use a soft bristled brush, sponge or clean cloths to remove dirt from the fabric before washing. Care and Maintenance To preserve the integrity of the canvas and extend its lifespan, take the following steps when caring for the canvas: Inspect and treat the canvas every 12-14 months.
