4.1 Mounting bore preparation

The bore depth D must be sufficient to allow thread engagement over the
full length L (see table below). If the testing vessel has sufficient material
strength, a thread engagement of 0.8 L is acceptable.

The wall thickness must exceed the bore depth by a web thickness of min.
4 mm. For thicker testing vessels, the top part of the bore must be drilled to
at least ø12.5 mm (BNC ø15 mm, TNC side access necessary), so that the
sensor can be mounted using a tubular socket wrench Type 1373A1.
