The Larson Electronics EPL-MB-70LED-50-B Low Profile Magnetic Mount LED light fixture provides operators with a
powerful and energy efficient alternative to traditional hazardous location tank cleaning light. LED technology and compact
magnetic mount design makes this lamp an excellent replacement upgrade option for bulky and high maintenance cost
older fixtures. This unit is Class 1, Division 1, Group B rated for use in environments that always contain Hydrogen.
INSTALLATION
The Larson Electronics EPL-MB-70LED-50-B Low Profile Magnetic Mount LED light fixture features magnets attached to
the bottom of the trunnion, allowing it to be attached to any ferrous, flat surface that is capable of supporting the load. Keep
fingers clear of magnets when mounting, and take care not to slide the unit on the surface to prevent damage or scratches.
Run cable to a compatible outlet outputting the correct voltage for the fixture, as identified on the product label. Light is
instant on and will illuminate upon receiving power. Light can be tilted by loosening the screws on either side, tilt to desired
angle, then tighten screws again to hold. Be sure all applicable local and national electrical/building codes are
followed when installing and operating this light.
EXPLOSION PROOF PLUG OPERATION
Electrical connection between plug and compatible receptacle is accomplished after plug fully inserts into receptacle and is
rotated clockwise.
1. Lift receptacle door and locate polarization on mating plug pin and receptacle face. Insert plug straight
all the way into receptacle until it cannot go further.
2. Rotate plug clockwise limit (37º), this closes internal contacts and completes circuit. This also
mechanically locks plug into receptacle so it cannot be pulled out.
3. To remove plug, push plug inward and turn to counterclockwise, pull plug straight out.
