WorkGroup 6.2 for Windows applications. It contains the following

Transcend includes 3Com-specific Management Information Bases (MIBs)
for 3Com products. 3Com Enterprise MIBs provide full access to the
management capabilities provided by 3Com network devices.
The installation program copies MIBs to this location:
<transcendhome>\common\ov\mibs\
To use the MIBs, you need to load them into HP OpenView.
Loading MIBs provides these benefits:
Enables you to access any of the defined MIB objects. This gives you

expert control over SNMP agents in the hosts, gateways, hubs,
bridges, switches, and routers of your network.
Gives you access to all the traps that a device can send. You can use a
I
text version of the MIB file to identify what trap messages mean.

Guide provided with Transcend Network Management Software.
