Turning the system on/off

Before turning on the battery pack or the eBike system, check that the lock is fully engaged and the battery is secure.
Turning the system on/off
To turn the CrossRip+ light system on or off, press the on/off button on the battery or computer.
Read and follow the Bosch battery and on-board computer instructions included with your CrossRip+.

Using CrossRip+ lights

The CrossRip+ lights are designed to be illuminated whenever the Bosch system is turned on.
Daytime light use will not shorten battery life. Lights use approximately 1% of battery capacity.
NOTE: This switch is designed specifically for use with a drop handlebar configuration. Not intended for use on flat handlebars.

Tools Required:

  • 4mm hex wrench
  • torque wrench

CrossRip+ tail light is designed to function when inserted in the rack or inside the frame.
Removing the rack - Step 3
To avoid corrosion of the electrical contacts in the frame, be sure to reinstall tail light in the frame before use.
warning Insert both bolts and hand tighten before applying torque.

Reinstalling the rack

Tools Required:

  • 4mm hex wrench
  • torque wrench

Loading the rack

Total maximum weight limit for the CrossRip+ rack is 16 kg (35 lbs), or 8 kg (17.5 lbs) per side.
Load both sides of the rack evenly. An uneven load could affect bike handling, resulting in a loss of control.
Do not place loads on this rack that weigh more than 16 kg total, 8 kg per side.
Secure any part of the load or straps to prevent them from being caught in the wheel.
Secure the load so that it cannot move.
