FRONT TRANSPORT PARENT AND FORWARD FACING

HARNESS SIZE ADJUSTMENT

  1. Before putting on the harness, adjust its size by using the parent size adjusting system: flap with velcro on the inside of the harness (R1) and back straps of the harness (R2). First, insert the velcro tab into the hole S, M, L, depending on the size you want, and fold thus securing the velcro (Fig. 1-1A). Each size has a corresponding colour on the hole side (blue: Small, red: Medium, white: Large). Then also adjust the back straps of the harness depending on the setting set on the back. On the 2 straps are 3 horizontal seams with three different colours (blue, red and white) that correspond to the three sizes (Fig. 1B). The belts must be adjusted taking care of positioning one of the three coloured seams, depending on the desired size, in conjunction with the passage of the three-hole buckle (Fig. 1C). Correct assembly requires that all adjustments described above are set to the same colour, which is equivalent to the same size (Fig. 1D).

An incorrect size setting could affect the proper distribution of the child's weight on the shoulders of the parent and also comfort for both.

always put on the harness before placing the child in the baby carrier.

HOW TO PUT ON THE HARNESS

  1. Wear the baby carrier harness by putting your arms in the shoulder straps (Fig. 2).
  2. Fasten the belly belt (Fig. 3A) and adjust the width acting on the side buckles N and O (Fig. 3B).
PUTTING ON HARNESS FOR PARENT/FORWARD FACING USE
  3. Attach the breastbone buckle (L) and adjust in height and width, as shown in Figure 4.
  4. Adjust the length of the shoulder straps holding the ends of the adjustment shoulder straps (M). Pull in order to let the harness adhere to your body (fig. 5).
  5. For maximum comfort during transport, the three pressure points on the ergonomic backrest must rest against your back (fig. 6).

SECURING THE BABY CARRIER TO THE HARNESS FOR PARENT AND FORWARD FACING MODES

  1. Secure the baby carrier to the harness through the specific zipper (F and P), as shown in Figure 7; then fasten the 2 snap buttons placed under the zipper.

HOW TO PLACE THE CHILD INSIDE THE BABY CARRIER

We recommend carrying out placing the child into the baby carrier when seated or using a flat, level surface so that you are able to control sudden movements of the child.

Hold your child safely while carrying out this operation.

PARENT FACING USE

Before placing the child in the baby carrier make sure the carrycot is secured to the harness via the zipper, as described above, but that the top and bottom coupling buckles (E and D) are disengaged.

  1. Raise the padded saddle-booster cushion and sit the baby, as shown in Figure 8. Subsequently, secure the padded saddle-booster cushion using the appropriate snaps (H), and adjust to the position best suited to the child's body, so that the same is never too broad nor too narrow (fig. 8A).
PARENT FACING USE - Step 1
  2. Engage the bottom coupling buckles (E) to the corresponding holes (K), on the harness shoulder straps (fig. 9). There are three coupling holes to adjust the carrycot's position in the most comfortable way for you and your child.
  3. Secure the upper buckles of the baby carrier (D) to the harness (T) (fig. 10), adjusting the width so that it fits the child's body (Fig. 10A - 10B).
PARENT FACING USE - Step 2

Make sure that the child's legs are astride the seat and inserted inside the padded saddle-booster cushion. When in parent facing mode make sure that the child's arms are inserted into the opening (C).

GUSSET USE

  1. The baby carrier is equipped with convenient gussets to adjust the seat to the child's ergonomic needs by maintaining the proper posture of the legs in a slightly spread apart position. For babies, in parent facing position, you can keep the gussets fully closed to allow the child to keep his legs drawn (fig. 11A).
Besides the drawn position, you can open the zippers completely to guarantee proper support for your child with his legs slightly spread apart (fig. 11 B).
Later on, as your child grows, you can gradually close the zippers to maintain your child's correct posture.
Finally, starting from 3 months of age, you can keep the gussets closed (fig. 11 C), with your child's feet resting on the relevant supports located on the sides of the parent's belly strap.
PARENT FACING USE - GUSSET USE

FORWARD FACING USE
When the child, approximately at four months of age would be able to keep both head straight and shoulders in vertical position, can be carried in a forward facing position.

  1. To set up the baby carrier in forward facing mode it is necessary to attach the carrycot to the belly belt of the parent (as described in paragraph 7), and using the buckles (E), secure it to the shoulder straps in the adjusting holes (K) as described in step 9.
Note: in forward facing use, the compartments of the carrycot must be fully open (fig. 12).
  2. At this point you can place the child in the baby carrier, making sure that the child's legs fit through the inner edge of the padded saddle-booster cushion (Fig. 13A), previously adjusted and fixed in the desired position (see point 8 for adjusting the seat insert-booster cushion). After sitting the child into the baby carrier, the carrycot can be adjusted by acting on the straps of buckles E (Fig. 13B).
FORWARD FACING USE - Step 1

Hold your child safely while carrying out this operation. Make sure that the child's legs are astride the seat and inserted inside the padded saddle-booster cushion.

  1. Fold the top of the carrycot to 180° downwards (Fig. 14A) and secure, via the upper buckles (D) to the buckles (T) placed on the harness (Fig. 14B). In the forward facing mode the arms should be above the fold of the carrycot. You can adjust the distance of the carrycot from the chest of parent acting on the lower buckles (Fig. 13B) and upper carrycot (Fig. 14C).
FORWARD FACING USE - Step 2

THIRD POSITION ON THE PARENT'S BACK

Note: In this setup, depending on the size of your child, you cannot use the padded saddle-booster cushion.
PUTTING ON HARNESS ON THE PARENT'S BACK - Step 2
  4. Secure only one side of the baby carrier's bottom buckle (E), passing it through the corresponding hole (U) (Fig. 18A) and the top buckle (T) (Fig. 18B).
PUTTING ON HARNESS ON THE PARENT'S BACK - Step 3

At this point, the baby carrier is ready to hold the child for transportation in the third position, on the parent's back.

HOW TO PLACE THE CHILD INSIDE THE BABY CARRIER
Following the instructions below, you can place your child in the baby carrier for the use of the third transport position (on the parent's back) without the help of another adult.

It is recommended to place the child in the baby carrier while sitting. In this way you can prevent any sudden movement of the child.

Hold your child safely while carrying out this operation.

  1. Place the child in the baby carrier (Fig. 19A), and then close the bottom buckle (E) and the top buckle (T) of the open side used to place the child in the carrier (fig.19B 19C). Adjust the length of the belts (E and T) to the child's body, in order to assure maximum comfort. At this point you can place your child in the third transport position (on the parent's back) by following the steps below.

HOW TO PLACE THE CHILD INSIDE THE BABY CARRIER

POSITIONING THE CHILD ON THE PARENT'S BACK

  1. Pull the right arm from the shoulder strap and, passing it through the inside of the harness, grasp the opposite shoulder strap with the same hand (Fig. 20A), making sure to hold it securely. Pull the left arm from the shoulder strap as well (Fig. 20B) and externally support the baby carrier carrycot. Put your right arm, which is holding the left shoulder strap, into the same shoulder strap (Fig. 20C) and start to rotate the harness. The baby carrier, attached to the belly strap, will turn with the harness and will be positioned correctly on the back (Fig. 20D).

POSITIONING THE CHILD ON THE PARENT'S BACK
  2. To complete the operation, slide the second arm into the free shoulder strap (fig. 21), so that the weight of the sling is discharged evenly over the back and shoulders. Close the buckle on the breastbone (L) and adjust all belts of the harness.

REMOVING THE BABY CARRIER

  1. To remove the baby carrier in the third position after the use of transport, remove one of the two shoulder straps and firmly grasp the shoulder strap still worn with the opposite hand (Fig. 22A); pull the second shoulder strap and rotate the harness to bring the child in the front position (Fig. 22B - 22C). At this point, wear the shoulder straps again (Fig. 22D) to move back to the initial position.
REMOVING THE BABY CARRIER - Step 1
REMOVING THE BABY CARRIER - Step 2

Hold your child safely while carrying out these operations.

BABY BIB

While in parent facing position, a practical baby bib can be used by attaching it to the breastbone strap (L). Open the breast buckle (L) and fit the belt into the baby bib opening (fig. 23A). Close the buckle after having fitted the baby bib to complete this operation (fig. 23B).
The baby bib has two sides: we recommend that the sponge side face the child's head.
