The Vaddio Venture VideoBAR Remote provides basic camera and conference
functionality – pan, tilt, zoom, presets, volume control, and muting, as applicable. You
can also use the remote to get the camera's IP address. This remote is a radio-
frequency device, and is required to be paired with an individual VideoBAR to work.
The remote ships already paired to the VideoBAR it is packaged with.
Before you can use the remote, you will need to:
Install the batteries
▪
Power on the camera
▪
Installing the Batteries
The remote uses two AAA batteries.

2. Install the batteries as shown in the diagram in the battery opening.
3. Slide and snap the cover back into place.
Pairing the Remote to the VideoBAR
The remote that ships with the VideoBAR already comes paired together, but if you get a replacement
remote or swap remotes between units and wish to create a new pairing, do the following:
To remove pairing on a remote that was previously paired to another unit:
1. Press and hold the Menu (≡) and Home ( ) buttons at the same time until the remote control
indicator is solid red
2. Release the buttons to clear the paired status of the remote control.
To pair a remote to the VideoBAR camera:
1. Use a slender item such as a SIM card ejector or a straightened paper clip to press the recessed
button on the back of the VideoBAR until the status light on the front sequences a blue dot from
left to right.
2. While the camera's status light is still displaying the blue left-to-right pattern (this pairing mode
lasts 15 seconds), press and hold the Menu (≡) button until the entire VideoBAR status light
flashes blue.
3. Test the control functions to confirm that the items are paired. If you missed the pairing window
you may need to reenter the remote control pairing mode and try again.
