    Some lubricants are not suitable for use in central lubrication systems because of the high number of additives they contain, even if their pumping properties meet the requirements specified in this manual. • Use SKF’s lubricants when possible. They are ideal for central lubrication systems.

    3. Overview, functional description 3.1 General description The pumping center is designed for pumping lubricant into the system. 3.2 Main components The pumping center consists of a gear pump (2), which is equipped with an electric motor (1). It also contains a motor control box (3), a pressure relief and control unit (4) and a barrel set (5).

    3.3 Operation The control center controls the pump center according to the set pressurization time and starting intervals. The control center starts the electric motor, after which the pump pumps the lubricant into the piping and further to the dosers. After the dosers have operated, the pump runs until the end of pressurization time before it stops.

    5.4 Storage temperature range 5. Delivery, returns, storage For parts not filled with lubricant, the permitted storage 5.1 Delivery temperature is the same as the permitted ambient temperature range (see “Technical data”). After receipt of the shipment, it must be inspected for any shipping damage and for completeness according to the shipping documents.

    6. Assembly WARNING Check that the pumping center is turned off before making any connections. Coming into contact with live parts may cause a risk of life- threatening electric shock WARNING The OS- 2000 system’s maximum operating pressure is 100 bar, which may not be exceeded in any circumstances. A higher pressure could damage the system components and cause injury to people or damage to the environment.

Impurities in the system will prevent trouble- free operation and cause damage at the lubrication point. Fasten the filter (6) to the suction hose assembly (5) and install the suction hose assembly to the suction pipe (2).

    7. Maintenance and repair Careful and regular maintenance is required in order to detect and remedy possible faults in time. The operator must always determine the specific intervals according to the operating conditions, review them regularly, and adjust them where necessary. If necessary, copy the table for regular maintenance activities.

Cleaning 8.1 Basics Cleaning should be carried out in accordance with the operator's own company rules, and cleaning agents and devices and the personal protective equipment to be used should likewise be selected in accordance with those rules. Only cleaning agents compatible with the materials may be used for cleaning.
