If you suspect that the product has been damaged, promptly discontinue use of the product.
Improperly setting up, using, or caring for the product can increase the risk of an accident or injury to persons or property.
Do not, and do not allow any third party other than a Wacom company or a Wacom authorized repairer to disassemble or modify the product, or attempt to open it or repair it. Wacom shall have no responsibility to repair or replace the product if it has been disassembled or modified. Having the product repaired by an unauthorized service provider may affect the safety and functionality of the product.
Prevent children from playing with or having access to any packaging materials or wrapping for the product or any small product accessories, as a choking or suffocation hazard may exist.
Do not use the product in situations that may distract you or cause a dangerous condition or situation, including while driving a car or other motor vehicle, riding a bicycle, etc.
For thorough cleaning, do not use anything other than a neutral detergent or a designated organic solvent, which may damage the enclosure of this unit. Please note that such damage is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
To clean the housing of this unit, use a soft cloth and lightly moisten it with water or alcohol with a concentration of 70 to 75%.

Before cleaning the product, always switch off the power supply and disconnect all cables from the product.
To clean the display screen, use an anti-static cloth, apply only a light amount of pressure to the display screen and do not cause the surface of the display screen to become wet.
Touching the product (LCD panels and other areas) or the power adapter with the same area of your body for extended periods of time may cause low temperature burns to your body. Avoid touching the product or the power adapter with the same area of your body for extended periods of time. Use common sense to avoid situations of prolonged skin contact either with the product or power adapter. For example, don't sleep on the product or the power adapter, or place either of them under a pillow, blanket or similar location. People with sensitive skin or medical conditions that affect the ability to detect heat should use special care.
When you pick up the product, hold the product with both hands.
Repetitive activities such as using the pen, swiping the screen, or using the touch pad may cause discomfort in your hands, arms, wrists, shoulders, neck or other areas. If you experience such discomfort, please stop using the product and consult your physician or medical provider.
The product may contain magnets, in addition to components or radio devices that emit electromagnetic fields, which have the potential to interfere with medical devices. If you have reason to believe that the product is interfering or may interfere with your medical device, cease using the product and consult your physician and/or medical device manufacturer.
Wacom cannot repair or recompense the recorded contents in the event that data is erased or damaged for any reason, such as a malfunction of the product.
Do not insert foreign material into the connector ports or openings of the product. If a metal object or foreign material is inserted into a port or opening of the product, it may cause product malfunction, fire, or electrical shock.
Do not use the product with any part of the product's ground contact area protruding from the desk or table. Using the product in this manner may cause the product to fall and cause serious injury and damage. Please make sure the product's ground contact area is completely inside the desk or table.
Do not block the ventilation holes for the product. Blocking the air ventilation holes may cause the product to overheat thereby damaging the product and/or causing risk of injury.
Air blowing from the product's ventilation hole, the ventilation hole periphery and the bottom of the product may become hot, and as such, may cause low temperature burns. Those with sensitive skin or medical conditions that affect the ability to sense heat should use special care.
Avoid intensive shock or vibration to the product and its accessories. Hitting or dropping the product may result in damage to the product.
Do not apply excessive pressure or stress to the sensitive parts of the product. Sensitive parts include, without limitation, the pen tip, buttons, and switches. This may cause those parts to become inoperable or malfunction or reduce the product life span.
Do not place heavy objects on the product or apply heavy pressure or force to the product; this may damage the product or break the product's movable parts.
Damage to the product due to negligence, misuse or accident (such as dropping the product), will not be covered by the warranty.
Always switch off the power supply and disconnect all cables if the product appears to be malfunctioning or is damaged.
Do not expose the product to water or other liquids. Exposing the product to water or other liquids may result in malfunction or electric shock. In the event liquid is spilled on the product, stop using it, switch off the power supply, and contact your distributor or the Wacom Customer Support Center.
To ensure optimal performance of the product and to prevent damage, please only use the pens and nibs provided or recommended for use with the product. Wacom will not be liable for and will have no responsibility to you or to any other user in connection with any damage or failures in performance caused by the use of pens or pen nibs not provided or recommended by Wacom.
The paint on the product can wear off and can leave marks, depending on usage. Use care when brushing up against the product or placing the product on vulnerable surfaces.
Be sure to dispose of the product properly and to manage the disposal in accordance with your local ordinances and laws. You are solely responsible for disposing of the product in a safe and lawful manner.
Only use a power adapter specified for use with the product. If a different type of power adapter is used, it may damage the product or otherwise cause the product to malfunction or catch fire. Use of a power adapter other than a power adapter specified for use with the product will void your warranty.
Keep the power adapter and the product in a well-ventilated area. If used in a poorly ventilated area, the power adapter or the product may overheat, causing the power adapter or the product to malfunction and decrease its useful life span.
The power adapter may become warm during normal use. Make sure there is adequate ventilation around the power adapter and use care when handling. Plug the power adapter directly into a power outlet, and do not use the power adapter in wet locations, such as near a shower, a bath, or a sink.
Unplug the power adapter and stop using it if any of the following conditions exist:
Regularly remove dust build-up from the power plug. The addition of moisture, etc., to accumulated dust may create a fire hazard.
Do not connect or disconnect the power adapter with wet hands. Ignoring this warning may result in electrical shock or product malfunction.
Do not connect or disconnect the cables or power adapter while the product or your computer are turned on; this may damage the product or computer.
When not using the product for long periods of time, unplug the power plug from the AC outlet.
Do not use the product in wet locations, such as near a shower, a bath, or a sink.
Disconnect the power plug from the AC outlet and refrain from using the product during thunder or electrical storms. Using the product during thunder or electrical storms may cause product malfunction, fire, or electrical shock.
Do not use or store this unit in the following environments:
Do not use the product near a humidifier or in direct contact with air from a humidifier. Minerals contained in water vapor may cause white powder or marks to adhere to the surface or the inside of the product.
The product is solely for use in normal office environments, including use as a center console in a climate-controlled environment. The product was not designed or tested for, and is not intended for use in, medical or military applications. Do not use the product in in areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere (such as areas with flammable chemicals, vapors, or substances), or areas having high concentrations or industrial chemicals, as they may cause damage to the product or impair its functionality.
Do not use the product in a facility control system that requires extremely high reliability. The product may cause other electronic equipment or devices to malfunction or degrade their performance. Observe signs and notices that restrict the use of mobile devices.
Switch off the power supply of the product in locations or environments where electronic devices are not allowed.
When other tablets or devices are placed near the product, the operation of those tablets or devices may be affected and may cause the product to malfunction. In such a case, please move the other tablets or devices away from the product or switch off the power supply for the product. Wacom will not be liable for and will have no responsibility to you or any other user for damages caused to the product or such other devices in connection with any such interference.
Do not place the product in unsteady or unstable places such as wobbly, slanted, or wet surfaces. Physical damage or personal injury may result if the product falls from an unsteady or unstable surface.
The product has to be used with Wacom Cintiq Pro Stand, or a stand that complies with the VESA standard. Wacom Cintiq Pro Stand is sold separately. Wacom recommends using the Cintiq Pro Stand with the Cintiq Pro for the expected performance.
Using this product without a stand may damage the ExpressKeys and cause injury due to instability during use. Be sure to use the product with a stand as instructed in the Wacom Cintiq Pro Quick Start Guide.
Do not sit on, or hang from, any table or other surface where the product is placed.
The product may fall and cause physical damage to the product or personal injury. Take extra care where children are present.
Move the product periodically to another place on your work surface to avoid permanently discoloring or altering the appearance of the surface.
Protect the health of your eyes when using the product:
Do not place metallic objects on top of the device and do not use the product on top of metallic tables, etc. Keep the device away from magnets and magnetic fields. Failure to comply with this restriction may result in interference, malfunction, or damage to the product.
This product has magnets installed inside it. Do not allow objects that could affect the magnetism of these magnets (such as heart pacemakers, magnetic stripe cards, wristwatches, etc.) to come into close proximity with the product, as damage or data loss may result.
This product has a radio communication function. Please use it in accordance with all the rules and regulations prescribed at the location in which it is being used.
Make sure the product is switched off in locations where such usage is banned to prevent interference with other electronic devices. Wacom shall have no responsibility for indemnity liability by such interference.
The following conditions are characteristics of LCD displays and do not indicate damage or malfunction to the product.
Do not push down forcibly with the pen on the LCD display. Pushing down forcibly on the LCD display may cause some patterns to temporarily appear on the LCD display.
Do not scratch the display screen. Avoid placing sharp objects on the display screen surface.
If the display screen has been damaged, DO NOT touch any liquid that may be leaking from it. In case any such liquid contacts your or any other user's skin, eyes, or mouth, rinse immediately with running water for at least 15 minutes and promptly consult a physician.
When the product is mounted on a display stand which conforms to the VESA FDMI regulation, please consult appropriate instructions in the manual for the purchased display stand. Unless Wacom states otherwise, Wacom is not responsible for third party products or accessories that may be used with the product.
For expected results, use the ExpressKey Remote at least 1.6 inches (40 mm) away from the product's pen.
The product is not waterproof nor is it explosion-proof.
The product has parts that are made of metal. If you show symptoms of metallic allergy during use (i.e., redness, itching, swelling or a rash, with potential skin blistering or scaling), immediately cease using the product and promptly consult your physician or medical provider.
The writing and drawing experience on your device may vary depending on your applications.
If a screen protector or protective foil is used on your device, you may experience a different stylus-on-screen feeling when writing or drawing. Wacom does not recommend using a screen protector or protective foil.
The product serves as and can be used solely as a passive display and input device.
Do not connect an inappropriate computer or graphics card which does not satisfy the supported video signal interface, as it may damage the product.
Do not damage, forcibly bend, or bundle the cables for the product. Do not place heavy objects on the cables or expose them to excessive heat, as this may cause fire, electrical shock, or product failure. If a cable has been damaged, stop using it and please contact a nearby store or the Wacom Support Center.
When moving the product, ensure that the cables are NOT connected to a power outlet or other device. Tripping over loose cables can cause physical damage to the product or personal injury.
Only use the cables that are provided with the product or recommended for use by Wacom with the product. If a different type of cable is used, the product will not work properly or may become damaged. Use of a different cable will void your warranty.
Prevent children from swallowing the pen, pen nib, etc. Small parts may accidentally be pulled out if children are biting on them.
Do not use a distorted or bent pen nib with the pen; a pen in this condition may cause the pen to operate improperly and scratch your tablet.
Do not store the pen so that the pen tip or buttons are continually depressed.
Pen nibs wear. Worn pen nibs or pen tips may cause damage by scratching the drawing surface. Please replace the pen nib regularly.
Do not strike hard objects with the pen. Doing so may cause damage to the pen.
When the pen tilts more than 45 degrees from vertical position, the pen may not be recognized properly.
Use the included cables or compatible cables that comply with the specifications and standards for the product. Using non-compliant or improper cables will not only cause risk of malfunction, but will also void the product warranty.
Please connect the power cord to a socket-outlet with earthing connection.
When using Personal Computer to connect the product to operate, the product is only applicable to ACPI System Level S3 (suspend to RAM) or off state to enter a low power consumption state.
Don't release the lock of the tablet stand in an improper way. It may cause damage or injury.
For DTH172 only
When using the stand, all areas of the "ground" portion of the product must be placed on and be in contact with the surface on which the product is being used. If any portion of the "ground" portion of the product protrudes from or is not in contact with the surface, the product may become unstable and fall, thereby causing injury to persons or property, including the product and/or the Wacom display with which the product is being used.
Do not use the stand with non-compatible devices or displays. Use of the stand with non-compatible devices or displays may result in injury to persons or property, including the product and any non-compatible device or display with which the product is being used.
