EMERGENCY LOWERING PROCEDURE 1. Replace facility air with a compressor set at 110psi. 2. Replace facility power with a generator rated for 3-phase, 10kw at the appropriate voltage for the control cabinet. 3. Raise each post off of locks individually. Only run one motor at a time during raise. Lower in synchronized (all) mode.
The responsibility for assuring that this procedure is followed is binding upon all employees and service personnel from outside service companies (i.e., Authorized Rotary Installers, contractors, etc.). All employees shall be instructed in the safety significance of the lockout procedure by the facility owner/manager.
