this installation instruction guide. Consult your vehicle
owner's manual for proper disconnection of electrical and
lifting of vehicle if required for installation of this product.

knowledge of basic mechanical work. If you do not feel that

Time to install this should only
take about two and a half hours.
Proper installation of this kit required knowledge of the factory
recommended procedures for removal and installation of original
equipment components. We recommend that the factory shop manual
and any special tools needed to service your vehicle be on hand during
the installation. Installation of this kit without proper knowledge of the
factory recommended procedures may affect the performance of these
components and the safety of the vehicle

- Page 3 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 3 | Open your tailgate, using a plastic trim remover tool, pry off the back plate. Pull straight back to avoid breaking off any tabs. STEP 4 | Unclip the top two plugs to the camera and the third brake light.
- Page 4 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 6 | Remove the rear camera and third brake light wiring harness. While holding the carrier, grab the rubber wire grommet and pull the harness out and away from the door. STEP 7 | Once the carrier is removed, place the carrier face up on a soft surface.

- Page 6 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 12 | Remove the wire harness from the stud plate. Clip the zip tie to release the wire STEP 13 | Pull the camera mount from the carrier and using a T8 Torx bit, remove the camera from the mount and unplug from the harness and set everything off to the side.

- Page 8 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 16 | Route your camera wiring harness through the DV8 Tire carrier delete plate. STEP 17 | Plug the camera and harness together. STEP 18 | Install the camera housing onto the tire carrier delete plate. Use the provided (2) M5 allen head bolts, M5 flat washers and a #3 allen tool to secure the camera housing to the delete plate.
- Page 9 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 19 | Install the provided foam piece onto the back of the license plate light as shown. STEP 20 | Install the provided license plate light onto the delete plate using the provide M5 cross head bolts, M5 split washers, M5 flat washers, and M5 Nylon lock nuts.
- Page 10 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 21 | Use the provided M6 hardware to loosely secure your license plate to the DV8 delete plate frame. Use a #4 allen tool and 10mm wrench/ socket to secure the (4) M6 license plate allen head bolts. STEP 22 | Remove the (2) factory tailgate rubber stops.

- Page 12 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 24 | Secure the DV8 tire carrier delete plate to the vehicle using the provide M8 allen head bolts with (1) M8 flat washer per bolt and a #5 allen tool. STEP 25 | Reconnect the rear cameras wiring harness.
