KIT COMPONENTS
(1) Rear Panel

(1) Flue Visor (NDV only)

INSTALLATION
1. Remove mesh door and glass assembly.
2. Remove the glass shield. Remove fl ue visor (NDV only).
3. Remove the hearth pan with the burner and logs at-
tached. Remove the screws along the front edge and
one screw on each side that attach the hearth pan to the
fi rebox sides.
4. Remove the center screw from both front faces of the fi re-
box sides as shown in Figure 1.

5. Remove the screws from the false back. See Figure 2.
Note: Appliance sizes are indicated in Figure 2. NDV
models are shown. NBV models will vary slightly in num-
ber and location of screws removed and the shape of the
false back.

6. NDV: Place the rear panel that was provided with this kit
over the false back that is in the fi replace. Attach the new
rear panel using the screw holes that are on the top of the
panel.
NBV: Remove existing false back. Attach the new rear
panel that was provided with this kit using the screw holes
that are on the top of the rear panel.
