    1 Getting Started Content • A30 Integrated Amplifier • Bluetooth-Antenna • Power Cord • RC 3 Remote Control Note: Please check the device and accessories after unpacking for completeness and transport damage. If the original packaging is already open, please contact your dealer. Often, a retailer prepares your new device for use at your home before delivery, in which several settings are already preconfigured for you.

    The A30 power amplifier require cooling. Therefore, it is necessary that the air supply from below and the outflow of the heated air upwards is unhindered. Be sure to keep the A30 as free as possible on a firm surface. The ventilation slots on the top of the device must not be covered.

    Connection of analog sources High level sources To connect analog sources, connect them to the XLR inputs (14) or to the rear of the unit using appropriate cables. For the RCA inputs (13), the left channel is connected to the top row (white), the right channel to the bottom row (red).

    In addition to the volume setting (see section 2.5), the options for adjusting the input sensitivity (see section 2.6), the balance (see section 2.7) and all the sound settings (see section 2.8) of your A30 or 30 are also deactivated.

    As an alternative to the supplied RC 3 remote control, you can also use AVM models RC 8 or RC 9. These two remote controls allow you to control a wider range of functions and are available at an additional cost from your dealer.
  • Page 11 1.14.1 Replace batteries Bottom of the RC 3 remote control If the range of the remote control decreases significantly, new batteries must be used. Remove the six screws marked with arrows at the bottom of the remote control (ATTENTION: do not open the two middle screws without arrow mark!).

    2 Operation First switch-on / self-test When switching on the A30 and V30 for the first time, a so-called self-test will be carried out, provided that the device was previously completely disconnected from the power supply via the mains switch (25). The device checks the configuration and functionality of the built-in components and then goes into stand-by mode.

    Then select the A30 or V30 as the audio playback device and wait a moment for the connection to be established. The then appearing display PAIRED on the left upper edge of the display (6) signals a successful connection of both devices. As soon as you start playing music on your connected player, the UNLOCKED indicator on the top right of the display changes to LOCKED.

    / off button (2). Wait until the RESET indicator in the display (6) goes out and the unit returns to normal operating condition. Your A30 Integrated Amplifier or V30 Preamp is now reset to its factory settings.

    Often, supposed defects can be attributed to operating errors, sometimes other components connected to the A30 or V30 are also responsible for a malfunction. Before contacting your dealer or us for a defect, we ask you to check the following list to see whether you can remedy the malfunction yourself.
