WARNINGS:

FUSE AND TEST THAT THE POWER IS OFF BEFORE WIRING!
• To be installed and/or used in accordance with appropriate electrical codes and
regulations.
• If you are not sure about any part of these instructions, consult an electrician.
• This device CANNOT be used for separate feed applications. If the outlet you are
replacing has the top and bottom outlets controlled by separate circuit breakers, you
cannot use this device.
• Device must be installed in appropriate electrical enclosure with a weatherproof cover
rated for use in the location where installed.
FEATURES
• The Weather Resistant USB Charger/Tamper Resistant Outlet provides:
- One Type A and one Type C 5VDC powered USB ports with a combined
Total of 5.1A charging current.
- Two 15A-125VAC or 20A-125VAC outlets.
• The USB ports are used to charge portable electronic devices ONLY
(NO data transfer capability).
INSTALLATION
1. WARNING: TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK, OR DEATH; TURN OFF POWER
AT CIRCUIT BREAKER OR FUSE AND TEST THAT THE POWER IS OFF
BEFORE WIRING!
2. This device is to be installed in an outdoor electrical box and wired in
accordance with NEC article 314 and CEC section 12 box fill requirements.
Deep outdoor electrical box recommended.
3. Connect wires per Wiring Diagram as follows:
To wire, make sure that the ends of the wires from the wall box are straight
(cut if necessary).
• Remove 5/8 in. (1.6 cm) of insulation from each wire in the wall box.
• GREEN or bare copper wall box wire to GREEN lead.
• WHITE (Neutral) wall box wire to WHITE lead.
• BLACK (Hot) wall box wire to a BLACK lead.
4. Twist strands of each lead tightly and, with circuit conductors, push firmly
into appropriate wire connector. Screw connectors on clockwise, making
sure that no bare wire shows below the wire connectors (Figure 1). Secure
each wire connector with electrical tape (Figure 2).
5. Mount device in outdoor electrical box with screws provided and with an
appropriate outdoor weatherproof cover rated for use in location where
installed.
6. Restore power at circuit breaker or fuse. Installation is complete.
