Introduction

The ground control station and platform control station emergency stop buttons (RED) must be set to "ON" in order to operate this machine. The unlock toggle must be held down in order to operate any controls.

Starting unit from Ground Control

• From Ground Control -Turn key of platform/ground selector switch to GROUND. Push the Engine START switch until engine starts.
• From Platform Control – Turn key of platform/ground selector switch to PLATFORM. Make sure red emergency stop switch is pulled out. Push the engine START switch until unit starts. ENGINE WILL NOT START WITH FOOT PEDAL PRESSED DOWN.

Travelling Forward and Reverse

At platform controls, pull the emergency switch out and start the engine. Position the drive controller to forward or reverse as desired. Press the foot pedal down and lift the safety ring on the joystick while pushing it forward or backward.

Travelling Left and Right

Press the foot pedal down and lift the safety ring on the joystick. At the top of the joystick there is a rocker switch. Pressing the left side will turn left, pressing the right side will turn right.

Platform Adjustments

• Platform Rotation – To rotate the platform, use the Platform Rotate control switch to select the direction and hold until desired position is reached.
• Platform Tilt – To tilt up or down, position the platform/level control switch up or down and hold until the platform is at desired position.

Boom Controls

• Swinging the Boom – To swing boom, use swing control switch to select right or left direction
• Rasing and Lowering the Tower Boom – Position Tower Boom lift switch to up or down until desired height is reached
• Raising and Lowering Main Boom – Use main boom lift controller t select up or down movement
• Telescoping Boom – Using the main telescope control switch to select in or out movement

Additional

• Traveling on Grade – Drive the machine forward when climbing a grade and in reverse when descending a grade.
• Function Speed Control – This knob controls the speed of telescope, tower boom lift, and jib lift.
