3.4. PRESENTATION OF ACTIV' SECURITY The Pruning shears C35 is equipped with a patented an- ti-cutting injuries system, the Activ' Security. This technology allows the blade to stop immediately when it comes into contact with the operator's finger or hand, with or without gloves PELLENC.

The tool emits three alarm beeps to warn that the Activ' Security is not activated. The blade opens. The tool is ready for use. 5.3.3. ACTIVATION OF ACTIV' SECURITY Warning Activ' Security is based on electrical conduction and is only optimal with the use of PELLENC Activ' Security gloves.

Warning The safety system only protects the user holding the tool, any other persons is not protected. Activ' Security and gloves PELLENC reduce the risk of cuts but the risk is still present. Always be careful when using pruning shears.
