Warning Your machine contains numerous recoverable or recyclable materials. Return it to your dealer or, failing this, to an approved servicing centre to be treated.

    • The Pruning shears C45 is intended for wine and tree pruning, up to a diameter of 45 mm. • The Pruning shears C45 must be operated from standing ground level or from a suitable platform that is completely stable and secure.

CONNECTING THE TOOL TO THE BATTERY To commission the battery, refer to its operating in- structions. Make sure the battery is switched off before plug- ging in the tool.

    PRUNING SHEARS C45 163529-A 4.3. TURNING ON THE TOOL WITH ACTIVSECURITY DISABLED Turn on the battery by pressing the on/off button and wait for the battery to beep 5 times. The "ActivSecurity" LED flashes red. Take the tool in hand and pull the trigger.

    5.2.2. ACTIVATION OF ACTIVSECURITY Warning ActivSecurity is based on electrical conduction and is only optimal with the use of Pellenc Ac- tivSecurity Gloves. When working in wet conditions, wearing gloves increases safety effectiveness. If you put on gloves that you did not have at the beginning of the day, or if you change your conductive gloves during the day, make sure they are compatible with the ActivSecurity system by restarting the tool and activating the security.

    In the event of any problem, consult an authorized distributor PELLENC. Warning For the proper functioning of the safety system, it is imperative to wear Pellenc ActivSecurity gloves or no gloves at all. The use of any other gloves is prohibited.

STANDBY Putting the Pruning shears C45 into standby is possible when the F8 mode is set between 1 and 8, see Section 5.5, “"Functional" settings modes”. Note A beep from the battery indicates that the tool is in standby mode.
