Indications
• For treatment of diabetic foot syndrome
• To facilitate the healing of open wounds and minor ulceration
• For pressure off-loading
• Up to Wagner grade 3 ulcerations
• Bony prominences
Contraindications
• Open fractures
• Ulcerations greater than Wagner grade 3
Cleaning Instructions/Maintenance
• When the shoe or insole (top layer only) is slightly dirty, clean it with a damp cloth or a soft brush.
• Allow the shoe or insole to air dry only.
Instructions for use
1. Apply a transparent dressing (not included) over the wound.
2. Circle the wound with the wound marker (included).
3. Place the insole (blue side up) inside the shoe. This will be a snug fit. Have the patient step on the
insole to transfer the marking.
4. Take out the insole and remove the pegs beneath the marking.
5. Peel the adhesive backing from the stabilizer board (included).
6. Attach the stabilizer board to the peg-side of the insole. Reinsert the insole into the shoe
(blue side up).
7. Place the foot in the shoe with the heel firmly seated, and adjust the fit with the hook and
loop straps.
