Assembly Steps STEP 1 Option A: Above Ceiling Cable Management If cables will be hidden above the ceiling, route cables through large opening in Ceiling Mount (A). Option B: Below Ceiling Cable Management If cables are located below ceiling, route cables through the side of Ceiling Mount (A). - Page 6 STEP 2 Option A: Wood Joist Installation Pre-Drilling Instructions Drill mounting holes using infographic shown Drill Bit: 3/16” (4.5mm) Align holes in Ceiling Mount (A) with wood ceiling joist and mark drilling locations. Use of a stud Hole Depth: finder is recommended for finished ceilings. 2.2”...
- Page 7 Option B: Concrete Installation Pre-Drilling Instructions Drill mounting holes using infographic shown Drill Bit: 3/8” (10mm) Hole Depth: Mark drilling locations in ceiling using a pencil. 2.4” (60mm) Press Concrete Anchors (W-B) into drilled holes, and secure Ceiling Mount (A) to ceiling using ST6.3x55mm Screws (W-A) and M6 OD-16 Washers (W-C).
- Page 8 STEP 3 Loosen the four screws on the Mounting Bracket (B) using 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A) and unfold the Arms (B1) by rotating and sliding the Arms out. Proceed to Page 10 for Mini Projectors 4 Hole Mounting Patterns Align arms on Mounting Bracket (B) with mounting holes in projector and secure to projector using Screws (M-A through M-D) and Washers (M-E through M-H) most appropriate for your projector.
- Page 9 3 Hole Mounting Patterns Remove Arm If you projector only has 3 mounting holes, use 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A) to remove one of the Arms (B1) from the Mounting Bracket (B). Align & Secure Arms Align arms on Mounting Bracket (B) with mounting holes in projector and secure to projector using Screws (M-A through M-D) and Washers (M-E through M-H) most appropriate for your projector.
- Page 10 Mini Projectors Use Wrench (T-B) to loosen nut on Mounting Bracket (B). Separate Mounting Bracket, setting aside Mounting Hook (B1) and Small Washer (B2) for use in next step. Connect Mounting Hook (B1) to mini projector using 1/4-20 x 3/8” Screw (S-D), M6.5 Washer (S-E), Small Washer (B2) from previous step, and a Phillips screwdriver.
- Page 11 STEP 4 Hang Mounting Bracket (B) with projector over pre-installed screws on Ceiling Mount (A), making sure Plastic Oval Washers are between the plate and mount. Plastic Oval Plastic Oval Washer Washer...
- Page 12 STEP 5 Secure Mounting Bracket (B) using M5x12mm Screws (S-A), M5 OD-10 Washers (S-B) and M5 OD-10 Plastic Washers (S-C). Tighten with 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A).
- Page 13 STEP 6 Adjust angle and rotation of projector using 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A). Upper tilt joint is for pitched ceilings only. Tilt Adjustments Adjust tilt angle using one or both of these adjustments. Pitched Ceilings Only Use the upper tilt joint to adjust the base angle for a pitched or angled ceiling. Using the 4mm Allen Wrench (T-A), loosen the bolts, set the angle, then re-tighten.
