    You may also submit a service request via email at: customerservice@lci1.com. • Do NOT attempt to repair shade or you could risk voiding the warranty. • Never disassemble any part of the shade without permission from the Lippert factory or the warranty will be voided.

    Drive Side Idler Side The AMS shade arms are under constant spring-loaded tension. DO NOT attempt to remove the canvas under any circumstance. The canvas can only be removed by a Lippert service technician or an authorized service representative. Attempting to remove the canvas may result in death, serious personal injury, component, or property damage.

    Operation Do NOT open or operate the shade in excessively high winds. Having the shade open or operating the shade in high winds, regardless if the boat is in motion or anchored, can cause serious damage to the shade's framework, which could cause severe product and/or property damage, including serious personal injury, or death.

  • Page 6: Troubleshooting

    • Clean the shades no less than every other month and perhaps more frequently in saltwater areas and areas with higher-than-average temperatures (e.g., Florida or the Caribbean). NOTE: We recommend rinsing the AMS shade system off with fresh water after every use. This will help ensure there is no saltwater residue on the system to cause corrosion.

    • Lippert Boat Shade Systems are built with quality marine-grade construction and materials; however, just like other parts of your boat, Lippert canvas systems need to be shielded from snow and other harsh winter weather conditions to protect the canvas and mechanical components.
