Preparation The SureShade 3000 Series Arch Power Bimni system is pre-assembled except for the port and starboard mounting plates. If working with a pre-wired boat frame, railing or arch, connect actuators to the existing harness. Refer to Wiring Diagram. If the boat frame, railing or arch is NOT pre-wired, run the wire from the actuator to the helm. Since each boat's arch may be configured differently, installation parts and procedures will vary.

Again, using the mounting plate as a drill template, use the plate's wire access hole to drill one 3/4" wire access hole in the starboard arch support arm (Figs. 5 and 6C). Remove tape from the mounting plate and set the plate aside.

Install the cord rail. Insert the cord rail onto the canvas' keder cord. Lower the frame assembly against the arch. Evenly align the cord rail (Fig. 22A) with the arch then use a pencil to mark its location. D. Remove the cord rail from the canvas' keder cord. Install the cord rail in-place with self-drilling screws at the previously marked (step C) location.
