    TCP/IP via two RJ-45 ports with independent LAN connections. It allows up to five devices to be displayed simultaneously in multi-view format and supports up to 15 additional participants. With HDCP 2.2 and PoE+ support, the VEO-SWC45 delivers a powerful, scalable solution for modern presentation and conferencing needs.

    4K resolution from a computer or media player to the VEO-SWC45 switcher. Once the device is paired with a VEO-SWC45 unit, the 3 available buttons will allow the user to start and stop a given transmission. Two of the buttons are customizable.

    5.2 Wall Mount Install The VEO-SWC45 can be installed on the wall or flat surface. On both sides of VEO- SWC45, there are two holes to attach the mounting ears that can be fixed to a surface using flat screws.

    5.3 Connection Diagram VEO-SWC45 is compatible not only with VEO-SWC45TU and VEO-SWC45TH but also with VEO-SWC44TU and VEO-SWC44TH. Please check the USB Type-C connector on your computer in order to use USB-C transmitters (VEO-SWC45TU and VEO-SWC44TU).

    Power over Ethernet • If the LAN Ethernet switcher supports PoE (Power over Ethernet), LAN 2 port can be used to power up the Base-unit VEO-SWC45 instead of using the external power adapter. (LAN2 Port of the unit supports PoE.).

    Connect both HDMI Outputs of VEO-SWC45 to 4K or Full-HD displays by an  HDMI cable.  Connect a 4K or FullHD source to the VEO-SWC45 through the HDMI input with ® an HDMI Cable. ® After starting up, the system displays both home pages, as shown below.

    Connect the other side to the meeting room’s sound system (It can be to an amplifier or auto amplified speakers). VEO-SWC45TH and VEO-SWC45TU can transmit audio to the VEO-SWC45 base unit when the audio output of the source device is selected.

    Wireless Conferencing Mode for configuration and operation. The user can choose between USB-B or Wireless mode to communicate with the USB camera and USB Speaker & Microphone connected to the VEO-SWC45 base unit. When the VEO-SWC45 base unit is on Wireless mode and two USB cameras connected, it is possible to switch between different cameras by using the VEO- SWC45TH or VEO-SWC45TU custom buttons or VEOShare application or WebGUI.

     Home Screen is displayed: 1. Time & Date: Displays current time and date. If VEO-SWC45 base unit has access to a time server through wireless or LAN connection, time code will be set automatically. 2. Camera and microphone icon indicator: The icon is displayed when a USB camera or microphone is connected to the VEO-SWC45 base unit.

WiFi / IP LAN IP: WiFi IP: address of VEO-SWC45 in wireless LAN / Assigned IP: address of VEO-SWC45 in LAN. “N/A” means the VEO-SWC45 base unit is not connected to any WiFi / LAN networks, or it failed to get an available IP address by the assigned DHCP server.

    6.2 Pairing VEO-SWC45TH and VEO-SWC45TU with VEO-SWC45 Connecting VEO-SWC45TH (HDMI wireless transmitter) to USB Type A port or VEO-  SWC45TU to USB-Type C port will start pairing process automatically. They should be connected one at a time. A transmitter can only be paired to one base unit and will always reconnect to the one that was last paired to.

    6.3 Wireless Presentation Mode VEO-SWC45 can be used to wirelessly share the screen of AV sources. VEO-SWC45 can mirror 5 sources onto main display simultaneously, which supports computers and mobile devices. 6.3.1 Screen Sharing using VEO-SWC45TH and VEO-SWC45TU Pair VEO-SWC45TH or VEO-SWC45TU to VEO-SWC45 base unit, see chapter Pairing VEO-SWC45TH and VEO-SWC45TU with VEO-SWC45.

  • Page 23: Screen Sharing Using Veoshare Desktop Application

    VEOShare application is the launcher that enables users to wirelessly share their screen content with VEO-SWC45 base unit wirelessly from any source device which hosts it, such as a laptop or PC. Simply copying the launcher to the internal storage allows users to run easily the VEOShare application.

    Under Security Level 1 mode, there is no need to enter password to connect. Under Security level 2 and Security level 3 mode, it will need to enter password on VEO-SWC45 Home Screen to connect and start casting. After entering the password, your mobile content will be shown on the display.
  • Page 31 Windows Devices • 1. WiFi must be enabled and connected to the same network as VEO-SWC45 base unit. Press + P and then click “Connect to a wireless display” in the pop-up window. Under Security Level 1 mode, there is no need to enter password to connect.

    3. Open the VEOShare application in the Android device, and then click the device list refresh button. 4. Select the VEO-SWC45 to connect to and enter the password to start screen sharing. 5. Click again the button “Share Screen” to stop mirroring.

    6.4 Wireless Conferencing Mode VEO-SWC45 allows to conduct a video conference using the room USB conferencing devices over WiFi. Connect the USB conferencing devices to the VEO-SWC45 USB ports. Camera and microphone icons will appear on VEOShare control bar. o White icons: indicate the USB camera and speaker/mic are connected.

    6.5 Moderator Preview Window VEO-SWC45 includes a moderator preview window that will let the user choose which of the online devices is displayed on the main screen, turn on and off wireless casting on any device or control volume playback.

    6.6 Whiteboard & Annotation Whiteboard and Annotation requires an USB HID compatible device, such as interactive white board, touch screen or mouse. There are two different modes: 6.6.1 Whiteboard A white board is brought up that will let the user to write notes, draw content. It allows different figures, colours and background.

    7.1 Network Settings To take the full benefit of VEO-SWC45 features, it is important to configure and integrate the base unit network settings according to the needs of the application required. VEO-SWC45 includes two independent wired LAN and a WiFi network card.
  • Page 42 7.1.1.1 Network Modes Configuration Device Name: Enter a device name for the Base-unit VEO-SWC45. Allowed characters are: "a-z", "A-Z", "0-9", "-“, “_" and “space “, then Click “Next”. Mode Selection: Select the desired network mode and click “Next”.
  • Page 43 Under this mode, VEO-SWC45 can work without any other wireless network configuration. Just pair VEO-SWC45TH / VEO-SWC45TU with VEO-SWC45 base unit, connect to VEO-SWC45 internal hotspot and open VEOShare application or use Airplay, Miracast or Chromecast wireless casting protocols. 1.     7.1.2 Network Settings This section manages the settings for Wireless Network Configuration. For specific configuration of the three modes on this page, please refer to the "Network Modes Configuration" section. The network mode can be set directly on this page: Access Point Mode, Wireless Infrastructure Mode, or LAN Infrastructure Mode.

    7.2.7 Home Screen Background Image When powering VEO-SWC45, the Home Screen will be displayed. User can change the background image of Home Screen. Select an image (jpg, bmp, png, gif with 1920x1080 p. resolution) from the appropriate directory and activate the selection box.

    7.3 Moderator Control 7.3.1 Sidebar Settings The user can enable or disable moderator control and preview on moderator side bar. 7.3.2 Multiview Layout This section allows preset window layouts to display participants on the main screen, with up to four views simultaneously.     To access the auto standby settings page, simply click on the text "Auto Standby" in the prompt. If the current time is within the designated period, press the power button on the VEO-SWC45 base unit to switch to the digital signage page. Press it again to return to the main page.

    7.4 Transmitters Manager The Transmitters Manager oversees the management of all transmitters connected to the VEO-SWC45. For each transmitter, the following remote controls are available via the web interface: Start/Stop Sharing: allows starting or stopping content sharing remotely. Full Screen: enables the transmitter’s display to be maximized.

    Last Action: displays the last date and time the device was actively sharing. o Operate: provides options to start or stop sharing remotely. Paired: lists all transmitters that have been paired with the VEO-SWC45 and allows • management of their settings.

    The password remains unchanged for all participants of the meeting, while at least one wireless transmitter or mobile device is connected to VEO-SWC45 base unit. After the user is disconnected, a configurable timeout will start. It can be configured to automatically change WiFi password to a random number every period of time.
