To finish the installation, sprinkle the vermiculite and lava stones over the ember bed. First place the lava stones between and around the logs. Then sprinkle vermiculite over the entire ember bed as well as on the floor plate around the ember bed. If too much vermiculite is placed on the ember bed the light of the ember bed will not be visible.
