    Configuration Over The Air Release These combined release notes apply to the released versions of firmware for the Spectralink S 33-35-37 Series handsets. This version specifically applies to version PCS25C - R1.2 2025 of the firmware. This is a main release that replaces previous releases as the latest Generally Available (GA) release.

    Spectralink S Series Corrections • Resolved scrambling and encryption corruption issue, which previously could cause a buzzing sound in the handset. Typically, a reboot was required to rectify this; however, this problem is now resolved. (DECTESC-1363) • Addressed one-way audio on earpiece issue. In rare cases, users experienced no audio in the earpiece speaker during calls.

    Performing SUOTA could cause the handset to end up in a continuously reboot state. This has been fixed. If this happens, the handset must be upgraded via the S Series software updater tool.     Spectralink S Series • Adding support for accelerometer (Motion detection) in the S 37 handset. • Added screen lock to security, and adjusted UI as needed. • Implemented low-power-mode. This feature ensures that the handsets consume minimal power during periods of inactivity, thereby extending the operational time between charges.

    Spectralink S Series Corrections • High pitch tone could sometimes be heard in the handsets ear speaker. This has been fixed. • When performing subscription, the subscription data could end up not being written to the handset database, resulting in missing subscription after handset reboot.
  • Page 9 Spectralink S Series • Update embedded Bluetooth firmware to version 29. Corrections • Previously when upgrading a handset placed in a cradle via SUOTA, the update could sometimes stop, and a manual intervention was required. This problem has been fixed.
