G7 GETTING STARTED GUIDE
G7 is a portable lone worker, single-gas, or multi-gas detector. Depending on your device cartridge,
G7 continuously measures gas concentrations in the ambient environment and activates
notifications when concentrations exceed setpoints.
HARDWARE
MENU
G7's menu lets you access functions such as gas
options, settings, and advanced information.
To use G7's menu:
1.
From the Home screen, press the OK
button. The Main menu opens.
2.
Use the up and down arrow keys to
navigate to your selection.
3.
Press OK to select the menu item.
SOS ALERT
1.
Pull down G7's red latch to signal for help.
NOTE:
Your Blackline Live administrator must enable this feature.

POWERING OFF
To power off G7c and G7x:
1.
Ensure the device has a solid green
connectivity light.
2.
Press and hold the power button to start
the shutdown sequence.
When the lights and vibrations stop, G7c is
successfully logged off from Blackline Live
and G7x is successfully disconnected from
G7 Bridge.

You must acknowledge the notification and address the triggering condition(s) before you can clear it. WARNING: Follow your company’s safety protocol for responding to notifications. For low- and high- urgency notifications, Blackline Safety recommends leaving the area.
  • Page 3 Press the OK button to open the Main menu. Select Modes, then select the desired mode. Attach the tube, then perform a block test by following the instructions on G7’s screen. G7’s screen inverts and the pump icon in the banner indicates pump is running.
