Remote Control

Note:

1. Install 2 pieces of AAA batteries(not included) into the remote before using it, Do not combine new batteries with old ones in remote controller, which can cause operation failure due to insufficient power supply.
2. When using the remote control, please make sure that the signal transmitter of the remote controller aims at infrared signal of the projector.
3. When you are not using the remote controller for a long period. Please take out the batteries to prevent it from leakage

Installation

Device Setting

Select Projection Mode to obtain a front and upward image: Menu>Settings>Projection Position.
Press arrow key to select and press "OK' to confirm.

The projector can be hanged on the ceiling with special hanger fame, and placed on the stable desk to project the image according to the operating environment and requirements.
Note: Keep the projector at a height where its lens is axial symmetry to the screen. If it is not possible, use the keystone correction ring to adjust the image.

Projection Distance & Size

Recommended projection distance: 2.4-3M.
*The image size depends on the distance between projector and screen. there may be 3% measure difference among above listed data
*The recommended projection distance varies with different projection contents. Please adjust the distance between the wall/ screen and the projector properly as needed
*Ambient darkness will improve the clarity of the projected images

Power On/Power Off

1. First connect the power cord to the projector, plug it tightly.
2. Once the projector is plugged in, it will be in Standby mode.
3. If not use for a long time or encounter thunder and lightning, please unplug the power cord

Power on: Press the button " " on the projector or on the remote control to turn on the projector.
Power off: Press the power button on the remote control again to turn the projector off.

When using the projector for the first time, it normally displays an unclear image. This is due to the lens being out of focus or incorrect trapezoid setting.
Please follow the below steps to correct:

Keystone Correction & Focus & Custom Zoom

To get the clearest pictures: Firstly use the remote control to adjust the keystone correction to make image rectangle and flat on the screen, then slowly rotate the focus lens to make the picture clear.
Note: Keep the projector vertical with projector screen and keep it on the same level.

4D Keystone Correction & Rotate Function

1. The projector has both 4D Horizontal keystone and 4D Vertical keystone, you can not only adjust the image horizontally or vertically, but also adjust four points to make the image rectangle.
   
2. Rotate Function: adjust the the screen angels, it will zoom the projection image and meet your needs.
3. Reset: Recover all the operations of your keystone.

Note: The projected image may be bury or difficult to see, this is due to lack of focus adjustment with the lens, please follow the processes below to adjust the focus.

Focus Adjustment

Rotate the focus ring slowly. At the same time, check the resolution point carefully. The best focus point for the lens would be where the image most clear.

Custom Zoom

Reduce the Display Size to 50%
Click " " button and choose the "Picture Menu" to adjust your projection screen size: Menu>Picture>Reduce Display Size.
NOTE: The interface menu will not be affected by zoom function, you can find the change after "Mirroring"!

How to clean the Black Spot

Please Kindly Note: Any electrical appliances will automatically inhale dust during operation, so man dust falls into the projector lens, it will have "Black dots" in the screen, it will make bad enjoyment to your use!
The W7 has special clean door to help you clean the inner lens, it will greatly extend your use lifespan and enhance the movie enjoyment! (The clean door is in the bottom.)

Open the Dusting Mouth Cover relation with a screwdriver.

Method 1: Flap the body of projector, hit the dust fall off the inner screen

Method 2: Use the cold wind to blow the dusting mouth.

Method 3: (The most effective one): Use the cleaning stick to reach the bottom door to clean the inner screen.(We have clean video!)

Setting Up the Unit

The projector's normal start up screen is as follows. If the first projection screen is not this one, press the " " button on the remote control to select USB source.

Signal Source Selection

Press the remote control signal source key " ", enter the signal source menu interface. Use the direction key and the confirmation key to select the signal source.

Multimedia Connection

1. HDMI equipment connecting (TV Stick)
   1. HDMI interface can be connected with the computerand other with HDMI1/HDMI2 output interface device
   2. Choose the media signal channel: "HD1/HD2"
2. AV Connection
   Use AV cable for connecting as follows, choose the "AV" source input.
3. USB Connection
   1. Insert the USB flash driver into the USB port and choose the corresponding files (video or pictures), then press "Play/Pause" button (OK) to display or stop.
4. 3.5 MM Audio Out Connection
   User can connect the projector to an external speaker or headphones via 3.5mm earphone jack
5. VGA equipment connecting (pc)
   1. VGA interface can be connected with the computer and other with Table PC
   2. Choose the media signal channel: "VGA"
      On your laptop, hold down the key "Win+P" board keys to change your display mode,
      VGA connection can only transmit analog signal of video not audio. An external speaker is required when the device is connected via VGA cable.

Wireless Connection

Important Tips for Wireless Connection:

1. The fluency of screen mirroring with wireless connection will be affected by the network environment. A bandwidth of 100Mbit or more is recommended when using screen mirroring.
2. Make sure your mobile device is close to the projector when using wireless connection. A distance within 1 meter is recommended
3. Some mobile devices may not support screen mirroring due to the compatibility.
4. If the projected image freezes when you switch the screen mirroring interfaces, please long press OK button for 10-20 seconds on the projector/ remote to do a reset, and the reset process will be completed in 2 minutes, please wait patiently.

Connecting Home WiFi

1. Select " " on the remote controller, click in and select "Screen Mirroring"
2. Press "OK" after enter into the "System Setup" interface, Click "WiFi", then you can search for home WiFi.
   
3. Select your home WiFi to connect. Connected!
   

Wireless Mirroring Setting

Screen Mirroring For iOS System

There are two ways to connect the iOS devices.

Connecting With iOS device via Screen Mirroring (Use cellular network from your mobile phone card)

1. Select " " on the main menu, enter into the "Screen Mirroring" interface on your projector.
   
2. Open the "WiFi" on your iOS device, then find the projector's wifi (WIMlUS-xxxx). Then input the password "12345678" on your phone and connected
   
3. Go to the settings of your iOS mobile device and activate the "Screen Mirroring/AirPlay Mirroring", then search for the projector's WiFi, tap to connect it.

Connecting With iOS device via Your Home WiFi (More Fluent Way)

1. Select " " on the main menu, enter into the "Screen Mirroring" interface on your projector.
   
2. Press "OK" to enter the WiFi selection interface from the projector, and search for your "Home WiFi", then connect it. (Check "Connecting Home WiFi")
3. Please make sure your iOS device has connected to the same Wi-Fi or Hotpot as the projector.
4. Go to the settings of your iOS mobile device and activate the "Screen Mirroring/AirPlay Mirroring", then search for the projector's WiFi, tap to connect it.
   

Screen Mirroring For Android System

To activate this function, your Android device must support Multi-Screen/Wireless display.
NOTE: Due to the technique barrier, the WiFi mirroring doesn't support Google or Sony phones

1. Turn on the projector and select " " on the remote, choose the "Screen Mirroring" and enter into the "Screen Mirroring" interface.
   
2. Activate Multi-Screen function on your Android device and find the "Screen Cast", then search for the projector's WiFi, tap to connect it.
   
3. The display of your Android mobile device will be projected to the wall/ screen via cellular data after a successful connection

Please Note:

1. Different brands of Android phones have different operations for select Screen Mirroring Display, please refer to your phone's manual. <Multi screen/Wireless display/WLAN display/Screen mirroring/Wireless projection/Smart view etc >
2. Not all Android phones support this function. Please make sure it is supported before use.

Bluetooth Connection

Tips: W7 Projector only can connect with Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth speakers and Airpods, not allow to connect Bluetooth keyboards or Bluetooth phones.

How to Connect Bluetooth Devices

1. Select " " on the remote, click into "Sound menu", click into the "BT Setting"
   
2. Turn on the Bluetooth function and Search for Bluetooth device.
   
3. When the desired Bluetooth device name appears in the search list then select it to connect.

Tips:

1. The Bluetooth function has distance requirement, please keep the distance by 8ft.
2. The Bluetooth function can only connect one Bluetooth speaker during the use.
3. If you cannot find the Bluetooth device, please re-stat your Bluetooth device and re-search again. Or you can contact our official e-mail for support.

Tips for Restore Factory Default and Software Update(USB)

Restore factory settings:

1. If the WiFi connection is not fluent, please try to restore factory default again
2. If the Bluetooth function is not fluent, please try to restore factory default again

Common problems can be found in the table below, we suggest you read the manual careful by first time use. If there is any question, that you couldn't solve with this manual, please contact us.

Warnings

1. High brightness lamp! Please don't look directly into the lamp.
2. Adjusting the contrast, brightness and focal length according to different input signals is the key to make the picture clear; otherwise, the picture will be blurred;
3. There is high voltage inside the projector. It is forbidden to open the cover and touch the internal parts of the machine

Precautions

1. Clean
   When clean this projector, please pull out the power cable. Use a wet cloth to clean, don't use any detergent that may damage the unit.
2. Accessory
   Please use our recommended accessory. Or it will damage the projector.(Any questions, e-mail: support02@wimius.com)
3. Correct environment
   Do not place the projector in a wet environment, like damp basement or near the swimming pool, etc
4. Ventilation
   The ventilation is equipped for the projector to work stably. Do not put anything around the vents. Or it will cause the projector heating up.
5. Power
   Please make sure the power is within the required power range.
6. Thunder
   For thunder day, please unplug the power cable from the projector.
7. Repair
   Due to high voltage inside, please do not open or try to repair the projector by yourself. Don't disassemble the projector without authorize, otherwise any warranty will be invalid. Seek help from an authorized agent or qualified professionals when needed.
8. Keep away from heat device
   Please make sure the projector is far away from any heat devices which will damage the projector.
