If an overload or short-circuit of the main circuit occurs, the main circuit reset will “trip” to protect the circuit, causing the generator to automatically shut off. Disconnect all electrical items from the control panel. Press the main AC reset (A) and the corresponding tripped reset button and restart the generator.
MAINTENANCE Engine Oil Replacement Engine oil should be replaced after the first 20 hours of operation or after the first month of use, it should be replaced every 50 hours or 6 months after. To replace engine oil; 1) Open rear access panel, loosen and remove the oil gauge dipstick (A) Fig.9. 2) Tilt the generator forward and drain the oil from the engine.
STORAGE & TROUBLESHOOTING GENERATOR STORAGE If you plan on storing your generator for an extended period of time, the following steps should be followed; 1) Add fuel stabilizer to fuel tank to minimize the formation of fuel gum deposits during storage.
