• How to use a dehumidifier effectively
1. Before first use
• When receiving the dehumidifier, it may have been
tilted or placed upside down during shipping. To allow
the oil in the compressor to settle properly, let the
dehumidifier stand upright for 24 hours, preventing any
negative impact on performance or lifespan. See the
figure for a visual reference.
• Place the dehumidifier on a smooth, level floor that can
support its weight with a full tank of water.
• The functioning temperature range is between 5-
35°C(41-95°F).
2. K eep windows and doors closed when the dehumidifier is in operation.
3. By placing the dehumidifier in the center of the room, you allow the air to circulate
the unit. Ideally, you should aim for about 18 inches of space around all sides of the
unit.
