Disconnect the fan from the power supply before carrying out any connection, adjustment, ser- vice or repair work, Fig. 3. For wall mounting, unscrew the self-tapping screws 6 and remove the cover 2 (Fig. 4). Drill dowel holes in the wall in accordance with the fits on the housing (fig. 5, 6, 7) and fix the fan with screws (fig.
CONNECTION TO THE MAINS The fan is connected to the mains via an automatic switch integrated in the cabling system. Switch off the power supply before making any electrical connections. The contact spacing on all poles must be at least 3 mm. Connect the mains cable to the terminal strip 8 according to the wiring diagram on the mounting bracket 3, Fig.
MAINTENANCE Before carrying out any maintenance work, disconnect the fan from the mains! Maintenance consists of regular cleaning of the surface from dust and dirt. The dust can be removed with a soft brush or compressed air (Fig. 13). The impeller blades must be thoroughly cleaned every 6 months. The filter prevents dirt from penetrating and shortens cleaning intervals.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT INSTRUCTIONS The fan must be stored in its original packaging in a ventilated room at a temperature of +5°C to +40°C and a relative humidity of no more than 80% at +20°C. The fan must not be exposed to acid and alkali vapours or other harmful foreign substances in the air.
In any case, the compensation under these warranty conditions may not exceed the value actually paid by the purchaser for the appliance. ACCEPTANCE REPORT The fan VCN _______________________________ is recognised as operational. Acceptance certificate Manufactured on (date)
