INTRODUCTION
We are pleased that you have decided to purchase an axxent high quality audio amplifier. Please read the following
manual to achieve optimum results from the use of this amplifier.
IMPORTANT FEATURES
The amplifier model CLP2300 is a convection cooled
amplifier for absolute quiet operation.
Its power is 2x160 watts into an 8 Ohms load or 2x300
watts into a 4 Ohms load.
The signal to noise ratio is high enough to use the am-
plifier in recording studios.
Input connections are Neutrik 3 pin xlr's with electronic
balanced configuration.
Each input channel has an xlr slave output to a next
amplifier.
Output connections are fully insulated Neutrik four pin
Speakon connectors.
CONTROL ELEMENTS AND INDICATORS ON FRONT SIDE
There are two volume potentiometers on the front side.
Indictors for both channels are alike: Protect/power with
green led to indicate that the unit is switched on and
working and signal green led indicators for the signal pre-
sence. Red indication shows limit level.

IMPORTANT SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS
On rear side of the amplifier you can find a
CAUTION symbol.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
remove the cover. No user-serviceable
parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified
personnel.
A solid rocker switch switches power on and off. Please
take note that first the power connector should be con-
nected before you switch the unit on.
