Safety instructions for your soldering iron CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not use the soldering iron if the handle, the mains cable or the mains plug are damaged. Never open the soldering iron's housing! - Do not expose the soldering iron to moisture or rain. - We recommend that you work in the vicinity of the mains socket so that you can quickly pull the plug from the socket in the event of an emergency.

CAUTION RISK OF FIRE! To reduce the risk of fire, place the soldering iron only in to its holder or on to a non- flammable surface when it is not in use. Avoid contact between the hot parts of the soldering iron and the plastic parts of the soldering iron stand.
The soldering iron is fitted with a special mains cable, which may not be damaged. When working, take care not to touch the mains cable with the hot soldering iron. If the mains cable is damaged it may only by replaced by the manufacturer or by the manufacturer's customer service.

3. Before using the tool Assembling the soldering stand (fig. A/B) • Fit the soldering iron holder (15) to the soldering stand (1) before you use the soldering iron for the first time. Start by inserting the soldering iron holder's (15) locating pin into the the slot provided in the stand's housing.

To avoid damage, do not use aggressive cleaning material, metal brushes or sharp objects such as knives, etc. • Clean the device with a soft, slightly damp cloth if required.
