The wire must be sized to allow no more than a 2% voltage drop GROUND LUG FOR FIELD GROUND WIRE from the building breaker/fuse panel to the unit. Wires with different insulation temperature ratings have varying ampacities - be sure to check the temperature rating used. Refer to the latest edition of the National Electric Code or in Canada the Canadian Electric Code when determining the correct wire size. -

11 CONSTANT TORQUE (EEM) MOTORS CEILING MOUNT UNIT ACST models utilize constant torque (EEM) motors. These motors come with a separate control box which is mounted on the side C.R.I. of the unit as shown in Figure 9. The harness from the motor is inserted into the control box which has another harness leading into the control panel of the unit. -
