FEATURES
The XP86R features COAST's focusing beam system:
- OLED digital real-time display
- Turbo mode for a burst of light when you need it most.
POWER LOCKOUT
Power Lockout prevents the light from being accidentally turned on and will automatically engage when the light has been off for 45 seconds. Double click the power button to disengage Power Lockout and turn on the light.
SLIDE FOCUS™
Push bezel all the way forward for spot beam. Fully retract for flood beam. Twist bezel counterclockwise to lock.
LIGHT MODES
Use the power button to cycle through light modes. After 5 seconds in any light mode, pressing the power button will turn off the flashlight.
Light may become hot, especially after activating Turbo mode or prolonged use of high mode.
TURBO MODE
Press and hold the power button for 1 full second to activate Turbo mode. Turbo mode will last for 40 seconds and then returns to the previous light mode.
OVERDRIVE PROTECTION
If the internal temperature of the light gets too high, the light will drop to low mode until it has cooled to a safe temperature, usually around 2 minutes.
REAL-TIME DISPLAY
The OLED digital display will reflect the current light mode setting and the runtime left for that mode. While charging, the display will reflect the time left to a full charge.
CHARGING
Lift the charging port cover to expose the USB-C charging port. Insert the USB-C charging cable into the charge IN port and connect to power source.
Fully charge battery before first use.
CHARGE OUT
Also under the charge port cover is a USB-C charge OUT port. This port allows you to use the flashlight battery as a power bank.
DIRECT CHARGING
Unscrew the battery compartment cap and remove the Zithion-XTM battery. Insert the USB-C charging cable into the USB-C charging port and plug into a power source.
Do not attempt to power the flashlight with aftermarket rechargeable batteries.
DUAL POWER
The XP86Rcan also be powered by 9 x AA alkaline batteries using the alkaline battery cartridge (sold separately).
Follow directional icons on the alkaline battery cartridge for proper battery and cartridge installation.
CARE
To clean, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not submerge.
