USING THE PRODUCT

Ultra View Flood Beam Feature
The CWL400R is designed with COAST's Ultra View flood beam featuring three brightness settings. Use the power button to turn on the CWL400R, as well as cycle through low, medium, and high settings, in that order.

DIRECTING THE BEAM

The-CWL400 mounted to the clamp on a swiveling ball, allowing for full 360° rotation of the rechargeable work light. To adjust the direction of the beam, lift the work light from the stowed position. Swivel it until the Ultra View flood beam is aimed in the desired direction. While the CWL400R is in the stowed position, the clamp handles also function as a vertical stand for the rechargeable work light.

MOUNTING THE DEVICE

The CWL400R is equipped with a secure spring clamp for hands-free use. To mount the rechargeable work light to an object using the clamp, grasp the clamp handles and squeeze them together to open the jaws. The clamp is tensioned by a pair of powerful steel springs, and it may require both hands to open. Once the jaws of the clamp are open, place them around a solid object and slowly release tension on the handles until the jaws have a firm grasp on the object. The primary contact points on the jaws are fitted with synthetic rubber pads, which should prevent the marring of most objects the clamp is affixed to

CHARGING THE BATTERY

The CWL400R is powered by an integrated COAST Zithion rechargeable battery. Prior to first use charge the battery, lift the port cover and plug the COAST USB-C charging cable (included) into the USB-C power input port. Then plug in the charging cable at an available power source.
Monitor charging progress, as well as the available power of the CWL400R using the battery life indicator, located on the back of work-light. While the CWL400R is plugged into a power source, one of the four panels on the battery life indicator will flash green indicating that the battery is actively charging, and the current level of battery life. Each solid green panel on the battery life indicator represents 25% of the available battery life. Once all four panels are solid green, the battery is fully charged.
When the CWL400R reaches its lowest power limits, the Ultra View flood beam and the final power panel on the battery life indicator will begin to flash, indicating that the battery must be charged immediately.

CONTINUOUS RUN

In addition to the Zithion rechargeable battery, the CWL400R can also be continuously run using standard AC/DC power.
To continuously run the rechargeable work light, plug the USB-C power cable (included) into the CWL400R and plug the cable into an available power source, then turn on the rechargeable work light.
While in continuous run, the CWL400R will operate at a single setting at a reduced level. The light will not charge while in continuous run mode. It must be turned off and not in use in order to fully charge.

POWER BANK

The CWL400R rechargeable work light is equipped with a USB-A power output port and can also function as a portable power bank for USB devices. To charge a USB device, plug the device's charging cable into the USB-A power output port, located on the back of the rechargeable work light. Then plug in the device.
While the device is charging, the battery life indicator on the CWL400R will light up and remain illuminated.

Note: The CWL400R does not need to be turned onto charge USB devices

CAUTION

The CWL400R is compatible with the integrated COAST Zithion rechargeable battery only. Do not attempt to remove the rechargeable battery from the CWL400R.
Never submerge the CWL400R rechargeable work light in any liquid.

Do not attach the clamp to objects with risks of arc flash and/or electric shock hazards.
