USING THE LIGHT

The TP9R is equipped with a Pure Beam® Optic with a three-setting lighting sequence. Use the Quick-Cycle™ Switch System to cycle through medium, high, and low brightness settings by partially depressing the power button. Completely depress the power button to turn on the flashlight in the desired setting.

ADJUSTING THE BEAM

Designed with Slide Focus® Technology, the TP9R can be smoothly transitioned between an Ultra View Flood Beam and a Bulls-Eye™ Spot Beam. To pinpoint the beam on a precise area, slide the bezel of the flashlight forward. To expand the beam and maximize the lighting area, slide the bezel backward. Use the Beam Lock® System to lock the beam in the desired position by rotating the bezel counterclockwise. Rotate the bezel clock-wise to unlock the Beam Lock® System.

POWERING THE LIGHT

The TP9R is powered by a ZITHION-X™ Rechargeable Battery (included). To charge the ZITHION-X™, unscrew the tailcap and remove the rechargeable battery from the battery compartment. Plug a USB Charging Cable into the charging port on the ZITHION-X™ and plug in the cable at an available power source. Monitor charging progress with the Battery Life Indicator on the ZITHION-X™. When the Battery Life Indicator is red, the battery is actively charging. Once the Battery Life Indicator turns green, the ZITHION-X™ is sufficiently charged and ready for use.

RECHARGEABLE-DUAL POWER

Designed with Rechargeable-Dual Power Technology, the TP9R can also be powered by two CR123 lithium batteries (not included). To power the TP9R with lithium batteries, open the battery compartment and remove the ZITHION-X™ Rechargeable Battery. Insert two new CR123 lithium batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure the lithium batteries are correctly oriented before closing the battery compartment.

The TP9R was designed to be powered by a COAST ZITHION-X™ Rechargeable Battery, or two CR123 Lithium Batteries. Do not use after-market rechargeable batteries to power the TP9R. CR123 Lithium Batteries are single-use only. Do not plug into a power source when powering the TP9R with a CR123 Lithium Batteries.
