    Chapter 2 Introduction The Eaton 93PCS is an energy storage power conversion system crafted by Eaton’s global team using today's most advanced power electronics technology and Eaton's nearly 50 years of advanced technology and experience in power system design. This series of energy storage converter is a transformer-free energy storage converter product, which provides an interface between the power grid and the energy storage battery to realize the charging and discharging of the energy storage battery system.

AC side requirements 93PCS series energy storage converters do not contain transformers, adopts three-phase three-wire as the output, and use the external isolation transformer to connect the converter to the AC grid. Please consult our technical service personnel for specific requirements of grid- connected isolation transformer.

    Due to the difference in converter output voltage system and the mandatory requirements of some regional standards, the 93PCS series converters require transformers to be connected to the grid in certain scenarios. This transformer is not included in the 93PCS series converters, the converter can be connected to the AC grid in the following ways A single converter is boosted by a two-winding transformer and connected to the grid.

    Before the PCS is turned on, it is necessary to ensure that all installation work has been completed and that the initial boot has been completed by an Eaton customer service engineer. Before the initial boot, check all electrical connections to ensure successful installation and normal operation of the system.
