Cassida 8800R Service Instructions

The Cassida 8800R V2 can count up to 1,200 bills per minute, making it one of the fastest top loading currency
discriminators on the market. Therefore, to avoid jamming, misfeeding or other errors, it is extremely
important, and highly recommended, to use proper bill loading technique as presented in this document.
Cassida recommends to not use more than 500 bills at a time and change to manual mode until technique of
bill loading is mastered.
Proper bill loading procedure for top loading machines is as follows:
1. Install bill guides
Make sure bill guides are properly installed
(see diagrams on plastic packaging or find the bill guide install document).
2. Adjust bill guides
Adjust the bill guides to a size slightly wider (0.10" on each side) than the width of the bills in the stack
(all US dollar denomination are the same size).
3. Make a stack
Correct or remove the bills if they are severely wrinkled, damaged or folded. Avoid counting bills that are
excessively dirty, soiled, folded, curled or with foreign material like clips, bands, etc. Bills such as these
can cause the machine to malfunction. Square the bill stack.
