Calibration Procedure
The contact image sensors (CIS), ultraviolet (UV) sensors, and infrared (IR) sensors of the machine are
calibrated properly at the factory. With regular use, the sensitivity of these sensors can decrease, leading to
false errors.
To address this, the unit can be re-calibrated using the white calibration card (white laminated paper)
provided with the product.
Please follow the steps below to calibrate the sensor:
1. Ensure the machine is turned on.
2. Use the control panel to navigate by pressing "MENU", then select "SERVICE" buttons on touchscreen.
When prompted, enter the password "6666", followed by selecting "CALIBRATION".
3. Rotate the machine to gain access to its rear and open the back panel door.
4. Refer to the provided illustration to locate the CIS sensors. Position the calibration card over the sensor,
ensuring it is precisely aligned, and the side tabs of the card match the guidelines shown in the
illustration.
