This manual covers the technologies used to back up volatile memory on PACSystems RSTi-EP, RX3i and RX7i CPUs, and RXi Controllers. Other manuals and documents published by Emerson may discuss memory retention technologies in passing. However, when it comes to energy sources used by PACSystems to back up volatile memory, this manual should be considered the def initive source.
