    OEM applications. The voltage spikes, power surges, and ground loops that affect traditional serial interfaces also affect USB devices. Sealevel’s HUB7i is an optically isolated USB hub that connects up to seven USB peripherals and protects the host computer from voltages up to 5500 VAC.

    Installation Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista™ Operating Systems 1. The HUB7i is fully supported as a generic USB hub device in Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista™ operating systems and requires no separate driver. The Sealevel Software CD is included only for distribution of the user manual and other literature.

    Optical Isolation To protect the host computer from voltage spikes, power surges, and ground loops, the HUB7i and the included wall-mount power supply provides 4000 VAC isolation on the upstream USB port. With the optional medical grade power supply (Item# TR122), the isolation is increased to 5500 VAC.
