    7. Assembling the SCOOTER X40/X70 a) Unpack the electric scooter from the shipping box and remove all protective films. b) Unfold the handlebar A and unfold the handlebar B (see chapter Folding the Handlebars) into driving position. c) Insert the handlebars C onto the handlebar rod A. Screw on the attached screws D by hand and use appropriate wrench to tighten them firmly.

    Handlebar assembly (operating position): Unhook the hook 2 from hole qj (main picture). Align the handlebar in a vertical position so that the handlebar can be secured in the operating position. Make sure that all levers are properly engaged and that the handlebar bar cannot be folded down.

    CAUTION: For charging, use only the original accessories supplied with the device or the original charging adapter purchased. When the battery operating time becomes very short, the battery lifetime has been used up; we recommend that you have the battery replaced at your authorized centre. Do not charge your electric scooter in enclosed spaces and without supervision.

    CAUTION: Never overload the SCOOTER X40/X70 electric scooter to avoid damaging, bending or breaking individual parts. Mechanical damage cannot be claimed under warranty repair. 11. Safety Instructions During each ride, use helmet and protectors to prevent injury in case of falling.

    Always keep both feet on the scooter's footplate while riding. Operate the electric scooter in designated driving areas. Observe the local regulations of the regions, parks, cities and states where you want to operate the scooter. Do not turn sharply at high speeds. Do not ride one electric scooter with more than one person, even in the case of children.

  • Page 15 Do not attempt to change the tyre without professional assistance. X40 – Front wheel removal – Release the front wheel using an 8mm Allen key and a 17mm side wrench. Carefully tap out the wheel axle from the brake disc side.
  • Page 16 CAUTION: The front wheel nut A is fitted with a plastic anti-sag lining. It is recommended that the nut A be replaced with each wheel removal and installation to prevent loosening during operation. X70 – Remove the plastic nut caps using a blunt tool such as a flathead screwdriver.
  • Page 17 CAUTION: The rear wheel will be held on the electric motor lead. Only a specialist service centre can disconnect the electric motor. Replacing the turn lights – Use extra caution when storing, putting away and dropping the electric scooter on objects that could damage the turn lights located at the end of the handlebars.
