Vista 5 Service Manual RAID setup The Vista5 is for safty reasons equipped with 2 hard disks. The RAID (redundant array of independent disks) is responsible to control the 2 hard disks. The exact coaction of the hard disks is defined in the RAID level. The most common Raid levels are RAID 0 (striped), RAID 1(mirrored) and RAID 5 (striped set [3 disk minimum] with distributed parity).
