| SECTION уш TROUBLE SHOOTING
Your 1C-551D has been tested very carefully at the factory before shipping. The chart below has -
been designed to help you correct any problems which are not equipment malfunctions.
If you
are not able to locate the problem and/or solve it through use of ШЕ chart, please contact your
dealer ог ІСОМ distributor for assistance.
1.
Power does notcome ON

con- | Carefully reconnect power cord.

Disconnect

blown
fuse, then
reconnect
the
power cord observing proper polarity.
Power cord is connected with the

its
fuse.
IC-PS20's MAIN
switch
is in the
OFF position.
Place
MAIN
switch
in
the
ON
position.
AF
GAIN
Control
knob
is com-
pletely counterclockwise.
No
sound
comes
from
the speaker.

Turn the knob clockwise to a suitable
level.
The unit is in the transmit mode,
| Put the unit in the receive mode.

SQUELCH
setting is turned

Turn the SQUELCH
control counter-

be heard
and reset it just below the threshold.

Connect the speaker connection.
A headphone
is connected to the
PHONES jack.
Unplug the headphone.
Sensitivity
is
low
