If the lower output power is sufficient, set 17) SOL Control and High/Low Power Switch to the
LOW (out) position.
Depress the PTT switch on the microphone for transmitting and release for receiving. Speak into
the microphone with your normal speech level for the proper microphone level.
If you need a tone-burst for initial access of the repeater, depress the (9 Tone Call Button for the
required period. (Tone-burst periods vary individually from 100mS to 25.)

Tuning Control so that
the frequency for programming is shown on (3$ Frequency Display.
Set © Memory Channel Switch at the channel on which you would like to program (1, 2 or 3).

programmed,

previously
programmed
frequency
is shown

Frequency Display.
Depress
(5 Memory-Write Switch;
The Frequency Display shows the frequency you set with
Tuning Control.
At the same time, "5.00" or the previously programmed frequency is cancelled.
This completes the programming.
The other two Memory Channels can be programmed in the same manner.
Now you can operate
using the Tuning Control plus the 3 programmed channels.
